This exceptional artist dedicates famous works to the coastal landscape of Palermo, from the mouth of the Oreto to the beach of Valdesi (works today part of the collections of the Sicily Foundation at Villa Zito).

Certainly, a particularly suggestive work is the one kept at the GAM, Vecchio Porto (1909), which presents us with a view of the Cala and of the historic city center where the observation point is from the sea: the city embraced by the high mountains, the its roofs of churches and monuments that present themselves in all their beauty and majesty to the eyes of the sailor.
